Like this:

1. Joined the new team in January, moved from managed to unmanaged code and got good at it. It was a good move from every aspect I think of, I feel like a developer now!
2. 2^nd year of marriage completed in Feb, went to Jitu Bhaiyas marriage in Udaipur on the same day as my wedding anniversary, cut a big cake in family – was nice.
3. The year started with the news from Namrata – that I will be a dad in 9 months J , became a dad in August(21^st) that was a life changing event – Jahnvi entered our lives to make it even more colorful.
4. My dream of taking parents for a holiday out of India materialized, went to Singapore and Malaysia. It couldn’t have been a better time as we were expecting a baby too and trip wouldn’t have been possible after the baby.
5. Booked a house in Aparna Cyber Commune, got a good deal, waiting for the possession now which will be in around Feb 2011.
6. Year was filled with reading a lot and lot of c++, design books(Effective, more effective, exceptional, more exceptional, gotchas, faqs, gang of 4 being some of them)
7. Spent 5 months alone when Namrata was at her parents house for delivery. The initial 1 week rocked(yes she knows that) and the rest of part sucked!
8. Brought Jahnvi to Hyderabad when she was 2 months, She cried so loudly at the airport that the security personnel almost skipped checking us(seeing her daughter cry namrata started crying too)
9. Previous years resolution of reimbursing bills is going good, I have reimbursed all internet bills and medical bills, have yet to submit petrol bills though
10. Completed 5 years at MS in July, team celebrated it – thank you all! Got a wireless headphone as a gift(I asked for it considering that I will be watching TV when Jahnvi is asleep)
11. Got room/office in the new team which I was missing when I moved here.
12. Mom and Dad came twice in the same year for the first time, still not so comfortable here but increasing their network continuously. I am surprised at times for their ability to make friends.
13. Mom and Dad arranged for a celebration in Bikaner for Jahnvis arrival, almost 400 people arrived, met my sisters and jijajis and bhanjas and bhanjis all at the same time – I call that life!
14. Got a laptop from office too, now we have 4 computers at home for 4 people.
15. Went to Ramoji for a 2 night stay, the 1^st evening of sitting in the garden with no lights and eco coming was awesome. Thanks to Pinku who came to let me go to the offsite.
16. Overall it was an eventful year – the biggest event being I becoming a father…
