I have Airtel prepaid connection(ya ya I should go for postpaid now, but no I feel free with the prepaid)
I have recharged thrice with Icici online recharge
- Recharged with 350(or something) got a
talk time of 150 while the normal available is 207. I enquired about it and they say that the recharge happens for the amount ICICI and Airtel agreed upon, WTH?
- Icici says topup your prepaid with any amount. I recharged with 200 expecting a talktime of 170(or something), I get a talk time of 49 rs with 15 days validity(which I already had!).Someone please explain me what is meant by topup? Doesn’t it mean that just talktime and no validity?
- Lazy me couldn’t help myself and went for a Rs 100 topup again to get some talktime for making an urgent call, guess what did I get? Nothing,money already deducted but no recharge till now(almost 10 hours up). Fed up of this I am going now to get my phone recharged from the good old shop waala.[Update 05/02/07] The 100 rupees were refunded back to my account in a few days.
This was my story, make sure you don’t have a similar one and beware that ICICI recharges with the amount with what they agreed upon and not with the latest offerings.

I just recharged my gf …..about 30 minutes ago…..fingers crossed and awaiting the sms…..

Well, before you charge, check the talk time amount and validity for the recharge amount from airtel site for your circle. I never had problem and I got what is published on airtel site.
Don’t charge immediately after first charging. There is a gap required between two consecutive recharge. Check this in icici site.
If recharge fails… create a request in infinity… icici will revert the transaction and you will get your monet back.
I am using this since last 2 years and I never had problem. On couple of occasions when I tried back-to-back recharge, the transaction failed but icici refunded me within 3-4 days.

Dear fucked up Airtel service…
well… first of all i will never ever recomnd any one to get an airtel connection in CHENNAI… i just recharged my airtel prepaid for 121 twice and the fucking money was deducted from my ICICI account immiditely… but my shitty prepaid never showd up.. after all tht i decided to talk to the cust care Idiots… none of them gave me a proper solution.. I AM NOT RUNNING ANY FUCKING ORPHANAGE HERE.. PLS STOP ROBBING MONEY LIKE THIS… AM GONNA DEAL THIS IN A DIFFERENT WAY..!! ANY WAY.. GUYS ..!! WAKE UP..!! NEVER EVER BUY AN AIRTEL CONNECTION.. SPECIALLY IN CHENNAI..!!

here is the same problem,i recharged with icici account and da money got deducted from ma account and there is no response till now,ive launched a complaint and there is no responce again,what da shit these people are working as a govt employees,people dont make a mistake of buying an airtel card
